Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese discipline which exercises the body and mind. The pattern or form is a sequence of flowing movements. Breathing exercises improve the lungs, reducing high blood pressure, increasing blood circulation and improve stamina and energy. Tai chi depends on awareness and sensitivity, rather then strength and speed. The movements also teach self-defence.

Andrew Levy is a second generation acupuncturist: his father practised 5-element acupuncture during the 1980-90’s. He was brought up with acupuncture and Chinese medicine around him for most of his early years.When it came to a change in career Andrew first gravitated towards Tuina (Chinese massage) due to someone telling him that he had ‘healing hands’. However he soon realised that what he was learning was very similar to acupuncture theory and with his background decided to do acupuncture as well.
After achieving a Higher National diploma in Chinese medicine from the London College of Traditional Acupuncture and finishing the Tuina course in 2011, he decided to study at degree level and achieved an Acupuncture degree from the University of East London, attaining a First. To consolidate his achievements he then went and studied for a diploma at Nanjing University, China.
After qualifying in Tuina Andrew helped set up and run Phoenix Tuina Multibed Clinic in Old Street. He now integrates both Tuina and Acupuncture into his practise. He assisted at Kai Clinic in Tufnell Park for 5 years until its close and volunteered at Shoreditch Spa for over a year. He is now resident at Amber Health in Baldock, Clerkenwellbeing in Clerkenwell and also runs his own practise in Kentish Town.

Baby massage classes with Kirsty are fun and informal. The emphasis is on providing a relaxed environment in which you can learn the massage strokes and also have the space and flexibility to attend to your baby’s needs, whether that be feeding them, changing them or letting them sleep.
Classes are usually held once a week for 5 weeks and last between one hour and 90 minutes. Each week we will learn how to massage a new part of your baby’s body, building up to a full massage routine. You will also learn a gas and colic routine which provides relief for the symptoms of gas and colic. If you miss any portions of the class there will be the opportunity to go over any strokes you may have missed as we review the strokes each week.
